What does Joanna Thomson Jewellery Do?

Joanna Thomson has been designing and making jewellery in and around Edinburgh for over 32 years. She now works from a studio in the rolling Border hills just outside Peebles.

Joanna can turn her hand to most types of commissions, from an 18ct and diamond ring to a 9ct gold necklace to a silver cat brooch; it’s all in a days work.

Short commemorative runs and trade work are also part of the workshop output.

Designs can be made in silver as well as every carat or colour of gold, and there is always a wide selection of gemstones to choose from. Joanna is a fellow of the Gemmological Association of GB and holds their diamond grading diploma qualification. Her knowledge of gemstones coupled with her years in the trade dealing with both trade and individual customers means that she is well qualified to handle your insurance valuations.
